On arrival at the Hospital

Admission to Divakars Speciality Hospital

  1. Emergency or a pre–scheduled admission requires that you register at the front desk. You would have to complete the formalities required which includes an advance payment by cash / credit card. Alternatively, you would require prior approval for cash-less service.
  2. In case you want to choose which ward slot you would like to be admitted to, please inform the front desk prior to admission (Subject to availability).

After Admission

Resident doctors will follow the instructions given by the consulting doctor. Nursing staff will make periodic rounds to monitor and assess your progress. Nursing care is coordinated with the medical plan recommended by your doctor.

General Policies

Cleaning is priority and we put maximum effort to maintain it at all times. Smoking, spiting or any act that eventually spoils the cleanliness and hygienicity of the hospital premises is strictly prohibited. Service and treatment are our primary duties. Tipping the staff with cash or any kind is strictly prohibited. Please maintain a vigil on your belongings at all times. The management is not responsible for loss of your valuables, cash or any other articles. We follow no compromise policy. Complaints and Suggestion are welcome and will be acted upon immediately. Your feed back is more important to us. The feed back form will be given at discharge.

What You Should Know

The well being of the patient is our primary objective. All policies and systems of our hospital are aimed to administer proper treatment and enable speedy recovery of the patients. Please co-operate and comply with these policies system.
The in-patients and their attenders are required to convey their acceptance by signing the prescribed form.

Admission

Apart from the advance paid initially, additional advances might be required depending on the treatment/s and stay extension. Please comply with requirements. Payment accepted in cash /credit/ debit cards only. Cheques or any other mode of payments are not accepted. The management will take care of all processing formalities with insurance company in case of insurance card holders. Ultrasound scan, X-Ray, Lab charges, Diagnostics and investigation done outside will be debited to your account to facilitate point payment. Name of the responsible attendant for each patient should be furnished in the prescribed from at the time of admission in the admission record. Every in-patient is provided with one complimentary bottle of mineral water and a box of tissue in the deluxe and super deluxe rooms.

Discharge

Please inform Reception 3 Hours before to complete discharge formalities Check out time is 11.30 am. Occupancy of the Room Bed beyond 12.00 noon will be considered occupied for the day.

Visitor Schedule

Presence of one attendant is required round the clock for each patient. Regular visiting hours are 9:00 am to 11:00 and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Patients availing Cashless Hospitalisation

Photo ID card issued by the TPA shall be presented at the time of admission. In the absence of the photo ID card you are required to pay advances as per the hospital policy.

Discharge from the hospital

On approval for discharge as per the instructions of the consulting doctor, a doctor on duty will explain various aspects of care and follow-up’s, if required.

The staff nurse would have the billing process initiated and will assist you in preparing to leave. Kindly collect all your documents, inclusive of investigation details and discharge summary.
